Canon Andrew White is known as the ‘Vicar of Baghdad’ as his church is the only remaining Anglican church in Iraq.

He has an amazing testimony, having been involved in a ministry of reconciliation and conflict in the Middle East for a long time. We are very fortunate in that he is coming to York for one day for a series of meetings on 6 February.

Two of these are at St Michael le Belfrey Church: 12.30pm to 1.15pm there will be a drop in meeting, followed by a church leaders session at 1.30pm.  These meetings are open to all.

In addition to this there is a public evening meeting at 7.30pm at Archbishop Holgates school at 7.30pm.

We highly recommend you try and get to one of these if you can – you won’t want to miss him.
