Andy Falconer is one of the Core Team at G2. He writes…
I’m just back from an amazing two days at The Global Leadership Summit in Chicago, run by the Willow Creek Association. The Summit telecasts live from the campus of Willow Creek Community Church, reaching more than 185 host sites across the United States. In the months following, the Summit moves into more than 200 cities in 70+ countries across the globe via videocast – including the UK. We will be organising a trip to either the Stockton-on-Tees (7-8October), Newcastle (14-15 October) or Scunthorpe (4-5 November) venues so keep the dates in mind and let me know your preference (andy.falconer@g2york.org). The leadership team of G2 are in the process of planning their vision for the next 5 years at G2. It is invigorating to see how much vision, energy, commitment and skill we have been blessed with in our leaders. We met in Starbucks the other night to present our visions to the team. We are now sharpening them and will share them with the church in the new year.
The leadership team is:
Rob and Hannah Ainsworth – cluster leaders
Josh Cockayne and Miriam Swaffield – cluster leaders
If you're interested in exploring the Christian faith, or maybe just find traditional church difficult, then G2 might be for you. Read more about G2 here.
