So perhaps you have seen the Come dine with me tv show and now we would like to introduce you to G2′s simpler version.  In March we will be launching a new initiative called “Come dine with me”.

Preparing food is something we all have to do to eat so why not prepare a little extra for sharing? The idea behind this is to build community at G2, encourage and get to know one another better.  We are currently looking for hosts who are willing to entertain 2 or more guests from the G2 congregation on a date of your choice ideally in the first 2 weeks of March. You could offer a lunch, a brunch, an evening meal or even bake a cake and offer afternoon tea.  G2 members will then be invited to go and sign up with a host.  The idea is to visit a host who is not in your cell group or someone who you do not regularly hang out with with a view to getting to know them better.  Hosts can also go visiting. Come dine with me will be offered on a first come first served basis so we may not be able to accommodate everyone this term but obviously the more hosts we have, the more people we can include.  For more information or to volunteer as a host please contact: katherine.sinclair@me.com.
