One of the things we want to encourage in 2012 at G2 is reading the Bible – it’s one of the staple-basics of following Jesus. It’s also one of those things that we all believe in but often don’t get round to! In helping people to follow Jesus one of the most powerful things we’ve discovered is the impact of reading the Bible every day.
The Bible is like good food to be consumed daily in order to live a healthy Christian life and we don’t want to miss out.
The Biblesync plan serves up a daily set of readings from the Bible. One from the Old Testament, one from the New Testament and a Psalm or wisdom reading. You can choose how much you want to use and how you’ll use it. Maybe just the New Testament, or perhaps a Psalm to go with your breakfast! Read them all together or spread them through the day, whatever works for you.s an initiative we’re starting at G2 to help people to read the Bible each day. You’ll be hearing a lot more about Biblesync through the year and you can start any time. There is something very powerful about being a community that is reading the same passages of the Bible each day and the hope is that as the year unfolds we’ll develop creative ways to use the reading plan as individuals and in groups.
The standard way to follow the readings is to sign-up for a daily email here (you can of course unsubscribe at any time). Other options are available here: biblesync.org/subscribe/
